Class Cancellations:

Due to limited seating and preparation of materials, all class fees are non-refundable. Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to class may receive store credit. Cancellations within 72 hours of class or no-shows are not eligible for credit or refund.

If the class is canceled by G Street Fabrics, participants will receive a full refund or store credit.

    We have sewing machines available in the studio for practice but you are welcome to bring your own.

    If you are bringing your own machine, please note that you will need to carry it to the second floor.

        Mending & Repair

        Learn how to read and sew from an industry-standard pattern while making a cozy pair of pajama pants! We’ll cover paper patterns, common sewing terms, and the steps needed to turn a pattern into a wearable garment.

        Open Cosplay 

        Instructor: Sayakat Cosplay

        Bring your cosplay project and get hands-on help in an open studio setting. Ideal for troubleshooting, fitting, and working with specialty or stretch fabrics.

        Adult Sewing 101

        An introduction to sewing machines and essential techniques. Students will learn the basics of machinery and fabric handling and complete a beginner-friendly project. No experience required.

        Sewing Boot Covers for Cosplay 

        Instructor: Sayakat Cosplay

        Learn how to alter patterns and construct boot covers using stretch fabrics to transform footwear for cosplay. A commonly used technique for polished costume finishes.

        Serger 101 

        Learn to use a serger confidently, including threading, stitch settings, and finishing seams. Perfect for anyone new to sergers or looking for a refresher.

        T-Shirt Workshop – 2-Day Workshop

        Create your own handmade wardrobe staple in this two-day T-Shirt Sewing Workshop. On Friday evening, Hillary will help you choose your fabric from G Street, and then we will jump into the sewing pattern! We will get comfortable with learning how to read the pattern, measure ourselves, and find our size. Saturday is all about bringing your shirt to life as Hillary guides you through the whole sewing process from start to finish! 

        You’ll learn how to read a sewing pattern, take accurate body measurements and choose your size, and sew a knit T-shirt using techniques for stretch fabric. 

        This workshop is best for students who already have basic sewing machine knowledge and are ready to begin their garment-sewing journey. Please bring lunch on Saturday.

        We will spend the first 30 minutes of class shopping for fabric and matching thread for your T-shirts; this cost is extra beyond your class ticket. Other supplies you may bring or purchase are:
        • Stretch sewing needles
        • Scissors
        • Sewing pins or clips
        • Soft measuring tape
        • Marking chalk, wax, or an erasable pen
        • Seam Ripper
